Multi Cal Mag Liquid helps support bone health with a combination of calcium and magnesium, plus essential trace minerals. Calcium plays an important role in bone mineralization, and adequate calcium intake is an important factor in developing optimal peak bone mass.1 Similarly, magnesium is involved in the development and maintenance of bones and teeth. Research suggests this mineral may help increase bone mineral density in women, while reducing bone turnover in men.2 Magnesium also has roles in maintaining muscle function by helping to regulate oxygen uptake, energy production and electrolyte balance.3 In addition, Multi Cal Mag Liquid offers nine important minerals. Manganese and zinc further support for bone health by regulating bone formation.4 Zinc has additional roles in helping to maintain immune function, energy metabolism, and healthy hair, nails and skin. Copper helps to produce and repair connective tissue, and plays an important role in maintaining normal iron transport in the body. In turn, iron is involved in red blood cell formation and function, and helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue caused by iron deficiency anemia. Chromium is also included for its ability to maintain normal blood glucose levels, while both iodine and selenium aid in the normal function of the thyroid gland.
